Platform overview
ChatMRS is an online platform designed to facilitate structured, caregiver-mediated assessment of the Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) for patients after stroke. The tool guides family members and caregivers through a standardized, logic-based questionnaire that produces a preliminary estimation of the patient’s level of disability.
ChatMRS was conceived and developed by João Brainer Clares de Andrade and is technologically grounded in the validated methodology of the iRankinScale project. The system’s decision flow and underlying logic are adapted from the scientific framework established by iRankinScale, which demonstrated high inter-rater agreement and reproducibility when applied across multiple clinical centers.
The platform was partially programmed and implemented by Daniel S. Zaveri, who contributed to essential backend components and integration of the algorithmic flow. LinkedIn
